Level 1
(Months 1 – 3)

During this introductory phase you will be familiarizing yourself with our salon and the standards that we keep. As New Talent assistant you will be shampooing clients, performing blowouts, and be given the opportunity to learn immediately. Throughout this process, you will be evaluated on your client interaction skills, professionalism, appearance, time management skills, team interaction, overall attitude and work performance.

Level 2
(Months 4 – 6)

Following the first 3 months of New Talent Program you will be introduced to the salon floor as a New Talent stylist. You will be accepting haircut and style appointments on a limited basis (select days with reduced pricing) as you continue to familiarize yourself our salon culture and techniques. Your evaluation during these months will be on your technical skills and customer interaction.

Level 3
(Months 7 – 9)

During Level 3, your cutting technique and customer interaction will be evaluated. At this time you will begin incorporating hair color services into your client services (select days with reduced pricing).

Level 4
(Months 10 – 12)

This is the final phase of your initial training in the New Talent Program. At the end this phase, you will be required to perform a complete cut and color on a client (New Talent to provide client). Once the final evaluation is performed, it will be determined whether or not the New Talent will be asked to join the Salon Justin Charles team.
